To apply to the B.S. in Information Systems Technology program, students must submit an MDC application for admission and have an A.A. or A.S. degree from a regionally accredited institution, or have at least 60 college credits with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. Applicants must also have completed the required prerequisite courses:

Yes. The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology is offered fully online through MDC Online. Please note that some courses may not be offered in the online modality for some semesters. Students can complete coursework, assignments, and program requirements remotely. MDC Online also provides online support services, making it possible to complete the full degree without coming to campus.

Completion time varies based on the number of credits a student transfers in and whether they study full-time or part-time. Students who enroll full-time after earning an A.A. or A.S. degree can typically complete the remaining upper-division coursework in about two years. Part-time students may take longer. MDC follows a standard academic calendar.

Yes. Students may transfer credits from a regionally accredited institution if the coursework aligns with MDC’s degree requirements.
